My nearly 30 years of experience in Localization, Transcreation, and LQA have been pivotal in advancing business success in Brazil. I also lead teams committed to quality, backed by my extensive knowledge in Journalism, Marketing, and Linguistics.

I was 14 when I started practising translation. My dad gave me one of his trade magazines and asked me to translate a short article about pavement tests for large commercial aircraft. Though the scope and subject have changed a fair bit, I haven’t stopped ever since. It’s been nearly 30 years.

Today, I leverage my skills in Journalism, Marketing, and Linguistics to lead Translation and Review Teams to high-quality outcomes and ensure client satisfaction, particularly within major technology companies. My role extends to actively localizing and transcreating content, ensuring it resonates with its intended audience while upholding the highest linguistic standards. I am also a seasoned Language Quality Assurance Specialist, focused on perfecting localized texts for the Brazilian marketplace.

I have directly engaged in and overseen translation and editing, including LQA reports and MT post-editing, across Marketing, eCommerce, IT, Financial Services, and Civil Aviation sectors for a diverse client base, while also leading Translation and Review Teams as the Lead Linguist. My responsibilities also include managing the creation of Style Guides, Glossaries, and Translation Memories, ensuring the resolution of localization pain points, and delivering projects ahead of schedule to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
